PHERD™ is designed to help you organize preparedness information without requiring us to know the details of your household, supplies, plans, or private records.
Your private data stays with you
Information you enter into the PHERD application, including inventory, plans, documents, household information, equipment, infrastructure details, and preparedness records, is designed to remain on your device. PHERD does not use this information to build advertising profiles or sell it to marketers.
Limited technical data
PHERD may collect limited technical information such as your issued product license or serial number, IP address we send our app to for activation or download date, software version, download source, and coarse geographic region.
We use this limited information for: -licensing and purchase verification; -security and fraud prevention; -software supports and updates; -internal products and sales analytics; and -compliance with U.S. sanctions, export controls, and geographic restrictions.
Payments
Purchases may be processed by third-party payment providers or application stores. Those providers may collect information necessary to complete the transaction under their own privacy policies. PHERD does not need your private preparedness data to process a purchase.
Support
If you contact PHERD support, we may retain the information you voluntarily provide so we can respond to your request.
Third-party links
PHERD.net may contain links to outside products, services, or resources. Their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties, not PHERD.
Our commitment
PHERD does not sell your private household information, inventory, preparedness records, or PHERD vault contents.
We designed PHERD so you do not have to trust us with information we do not need.
